Without someone in between who splits the lot, a researcher either makes the intermediate from scratch or waits months. Sometimes the project changes instead.

gramsource fills that gap. We buy from manufacturers by the kilogram, split into gram packs, keep the documents straight and ship to labs abroad. It isn’t work that gets your name on a paper, but it is part of how the result happens.

People have done this before

In 1951 Alfred Bader started Aldrich in a garage in Milwaukee because chemists couldn’t buy the reagents they needed. “Chemists helping chemists” became the world’s largest research chemical supplier. In Kyiv, Enamine put hundreds of thousands of building blocks on the shelf in gram amounts and cut sourcing for drug discovery from months to days.
